Calvary Chapel Upland Christian Academy offers:
Full Membership Services and Associate Membership Services

SUPPORT SERVICES for full membership include:

1. PRIVATE SCHOOL AFFIDAVIT
In order to operate as a private school in the state of California, an affidavit must be filed with the Board of Education. Calvary Chapel Upland Christian Academy files this statement each fall as required. Families joining our school as full members should NOT file their own affidavit, as they are already covered and accounted for through the school’s affidavit.

2. PERMANENT STUDENT RECORDS
Permanent cumulative records are maintained in fireproof files. Parents may view these records by appointment. Please be reminded that you are responsible for maintaining your own personal records. The school must maintain the original records until requested by another school that has an affidavit on file with the state. These records are kept confidential.

3. PARENT/TEACHER MEETINGS
CCUCA holds 9 monthly teachers’ meetings which are mandatory.

6. HIGH SCHOOL TRANSCRIPT AND DIPLOMA
We maintain a transcript for the four years of high school, grades 9 through 12. We will send a copy when requested to other schools, colleges or universities. A diploma will be issued to any student completing the graduation requirements set forth by Calvary Chapel Upland Christian Academy.

7. ACADEMIC TESTING
Standardized achievement testing (SAT) is available. However, it is only required for students in grades 4 - 12. The cost depends upon the test used, but is usually about $35.00 per student. Testing is done in the spring, and payment is due when ordering. Prior to the time of testing, the various options of available tests will be explained in the newsletter and coordinated through the school office.

8. PROMOTION
A memorable time for our students comes at the end of the year when we honor our graduates from kindergarten to high school. Again, parent participation is required to make these events meaningful and memorable.

9. CURRICULUM GUIDANCE

10.PLANNED FIELD TRIPS
For your convenience, Calvary Chapel Upland Christian Academy plans approximately one field trip per month. You are not expected to attend all of them, pick those that fit your particular family situation. The field trips are announced through the monthly newsletter. You then have the opportunity to sign up by calling the number given in the newsletter or at the required teacher’s meeting prior to the trip. Payments may be made through the mail, at park day, or during school office hours.

11. ACADEMIC CLASSES
Classes offered to our children of all ages by teacher's that have been professionally trained and are usually from our fellowship. This takes an extra burden off of the primary teacher/mom. These classes are offered throughout the year.
